In response to the growing demand by multi-national organizations for Telecom Lifecycle Management solutions that can be deployed and supported on a global scale, the Spend Management Solutions (SMS) division of Symphony Services has expanded its already extensive International presence by opening an EMEA office in Guildford, UK. Mark Bradshaw has been employed as Director for EMEA.
“The reasons for deciding to invest in EMEA are straightforward. Many of Symphony’s existing US-based multi-national customers and business partners are expanding their implementations out of the US. At the same time, the European market for telecom lifecycle management solutions and services has reached a level of maturity that is generating real demand for our offerings,” explained Mark. “Europe, with a population of 450M inside the EU alone, is a major marketplace comparable in size to the US. We estimate that there are over 2,000 large EU-based multi-national organizations with a level of telecommunications expenditure – and related cost savings potential – that will justify automating the “procure-to-pay” business processes that are associated with the provisioning and management of their telecommunications assets, both fixed and mobile.”
Mark brings over 20 years of software business development experience to Symphony, gained from a wide variety of sales and sales management roles in Europe and the US. Prior to joining Symphony, Mark was General Manager, EMEA, for Tangoe Inc., a provider of TEM services based in Connecticut.
