As an adjunct to EMS, Symphony’s IDC4 recording architecture can collect call detail records (CDR) either directly via IP or from a collection device. Our costing engine is integrated with EMS to transmit costed call records for billing and reporting purposes. SSR.net II is used for call collection and versatile alarm management of text-based alarms plus environmental and contact closure alarms. Flexible and easy to use alarm engine capabilities include the ability to detect device alarms, toll fraud and “no data” occurrences and perform notification actions to pager or email based on alarm specifics.
