EMS Standard is a comprehensive call accounting system designed to target small, medium, and large enterprise customer without the need for comprehensive TEM capabilities. EMS Standard integrates the following modules:
∙ IDC4 Call Management. CDR from legacy PBX, VoIP, and Vendor Billing Media can be consolidated for usage-based chargeback and reporting. IDC4 Call Management provides device monitoring and alarming.
∙ Inventory Management .Inventory can be managed for chargeback and queries through the use of automated scripts and online change management capabilities.
∙ Billing Management. Cost Allocation and Chargeback are standard with EMS Standard and provide customer flexibility in the types of charges that can be allocated. Department/Cost Center allocation can interface with the customer's existing GL process.
∙ ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load). An access/egress portal for any electronic data. Vendor call detail, ongoing update records, or any other electronic data imports/exports are performed using this data mapping and scheduling tool.
∙ Reports. EMS Standard has a comprehensive standard list of reports. Report output formats include HTML back to the browser, PDF to browser, file, or email, XLS-compatible for file or email. The report groups include these functional areas:
─ Billing and Cost Allocation: Financial reporting with active drilldown capabilities allowing financial managers to perform valuable "what-if" analysis.
─ Cost Management: All costing elements that comprise the enterprise can evaluated through this report group.
─ Inventory: Asset reporting provides insight into the inventory database including usage-based assets without usage.
─ Traffic Statistics: Usage-based reporting on trunk/circuit utilization, traffic patterns, traffic sizing, top n reports including callers, cost, duration, ANI, and incoming/outgoing traffic patterns. VoIP QoS (Quality of Service) reporting allows the telecommunications or IT organization to monitor the quality of IP-enabled device detail. The Traffic Statistics report group provides for tailoring of each of these reports based on the report type allowing the user to fine-tune for specific business processes.
─ Toll Fraud/Abuse: Usage-based reporting provides for abuse, threshold fraud detection, and excessive usage analysis.
─ Wireless: Vendor-based usage records are loaded through the ETL module and these records are made available for extensive interactive drill-down analysis as well as standard reporting.
